Fulfill the work of your faith with power Love Compassion

Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power.

(2 Thessalonians 1:11)

ASSEMBLIES OF GOD

Beliefs & Statement of Faith

Our ‘reason for being’ is: (1) To be an agency of God for evangelizing the world (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19–20; Mark 16:15–16); (2) To be a corporate body in which man may worship God (1 Corinthians 12:13); (3) To be a channel of God’s purpose to build a body of saints being perfected in the image of His son (1 Corinthians 12:28; 14:12; Ephesians 4:11–16); and, (4) To be a people who demonstrate God's love and compassion for all the world. (Psalm 112:9; Galatians 2:10; 6:10; James 1:27).

what we do

Our Mission

Our congregation is called to learn from Christ, to work with wisdom, and to flourish in virtues.

Learn From Christ

We are all apprentices and only one is the rabbi, Jesus Christ. We learn from the best as we uncover the profound truths of the Holy Spirit revealed in Scripture.

Work with Wisdom

Our daily work matters. It is through our work that the wisdom of God is revealed to us. Why do we work for? Not only for compensation, but rather to help our neighbor whom we often don’t see.

Flourish in Virtues

The performance of our vocation contributes to a community flourishing and the development of our virtues to personal fruitfulness.

IN CHRIST

Family ties are unbreakable

In the United States, marriage is in crisis. A large segment of our population lives within a single parent family. It is imperative in times like these that the Christian church clarify, teach, and faithfully fulfill what the Bible says about marriage, sexuality, and parenting.

our goals

Build up our faith in the midst of disruption, develop our work through neighborly love, and adopt an entrepreneurial spirit for all of life.

Revival movements come and go. The desire to know God comes and decreases, though others desperately want to see something unusual, something that has never happened before. At the second General Council in November 1914, the Assemblies of God delegates approved a resolution to achieve “the greatest evangelism that the world has ever seen.” This was quite a goal to set for such a small group. Yet, we could argue that together we have succeeded in reaching that target now with over 69 million people worldwide. And our church is part of this growth!

The Miracle of Salvation

Linda Gofman, 44 years

“ Overwhelmed by the gift of salvation we have found in Jesus, we have a heart for authentic worship, are passionate about the local church, and are on mission to see God’s kingdom established across the earth. We are a church that believes in Jesus.”
